Gary Pinkerton talks with Dr. John Paitakes, who has spent 50+ years working in criminal justice, and an Adjunct Professor at Rider University. He worked as a probation officer for 29 years rising to the position of Vicinage Assistant Chief Probation Officer. Upon retiring he began his second career as a Criminal Justice Professor at Seton Hall University where he taught 21 different criminal justice courses. He is presently serving his second term as an Alternate Parole Board member for the New Jersey State Parole Board. He has written numerous articles on a variety of criminal justice issues and has appeared on radio and television programs as a criminal justice expert.

Gary Pinkerton talks with David Winters, president for teh Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, about the mission to treat traumatic brain injuries suffered by our servicemen and women. The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund (IFHF) is building a series of ten specially-designed treatment facilities, called Intrepid Spirit Centers, on military bases across the nation. These centers act as Gymnasiums For The Brain, providing service members with the most advanced care available to address the complex symptoms of TBI and PTS. 7 Intrepid Spirit Centers are open and serving America’s brave men and women in uniform and the eighth center is currently underway. More than 90% of patients treated in the centers are able to continue on Active Duty.
